-
Are they really Original screens? What does OEM mean?OEM stands for ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer'. Which means it is not an official original Apple screen. But it is the closest thing you can get. The only way to get the official Apple product, is through Apple directly
-
What are Aftermarket screens?Aftermarket screens are basically copies. All the parts are produced independently from Apple. There are no original parts, hence the cheaper price.
-
Are Aftermarket screens any good? Not all Aftermarket screens have the same quality. The main problem with aftermarket screens is that there are no set standards to follow. Each company can produce vastly different products. And if you're buying them from eBay for example, you'd have no idea, which manufacturer you're buying from. Fortunately, I source my aftermarket screens directly from one renowned manufacturer. The quality of their screens is equal to that of Apple.
